Announcements

Welcome back to Term Six. We hope that everyone had a very restful half term. This is a very busy term for the school with lots of exciting school events to come. Please keep an eye on the school newsletter and website calendar.

Hopefully we will continue to see the sun! Please do remember to wear sunscreen and to bring in a water bottle each day. This being England, we would of course advise bringing a coat too!

Churchill Class Residential

Churchill Class spent the week at PGL Bawdsey Manor in Suffolk. We were so proud of them. They were an absolute delight to spend time with and rose to every challenge. Even the PGL staff commented on how polite, well mannered and fun they were to have in activity groups. Well done all! A full photo gallery will follow shortly on the class page.

A very warm welcome to Mersham Primary School. Situated in a quiet, rural village close to Ashford, we enjoy beautiful views over the Kent countryside from our extensive school grounds and exceptional outdoor learning space.

Becoming part of our school community is one of the most rewarding and important decisions you are likely to make. We aim to create an environment where the children are happy and excited about coming to school; where they will succeed; where the curriculum is broad, balanced and enriching and where standards are high.

A real love of learning will be nurtured, building on the strengths of every child, whilst introducing new skills to prepare them for an ever changing world. Your child will be actively encouraged to take part in their learning and apply their skills in a range of contexts to develop a life-long love of learning and to take responsibility for it.

We pride ourselves on our links with parents and the wider local community. We work closely with parents and carers to foster high expectations, initiative, challenge, self-discipline and self-confidence. I hope you will enjoy your visit to our website and please do get in touch if you would like any further information about our school. We are always happy to arrange guided tours at any point during the academic year. We look forward to welcoming you to our school!
