We have had a wonderful week celebrating things that make us different and unique. We shared our heritage through family trees and delicious foods that were special to us. We also had a marvellous visit from Dr Kumta who taught us all about Hinduism.
We also learnt some new languages through an exciting treasure hunt, and even learnt a new BSL song.
We looked at bedrooms of children around the world and tried to match them with the child and their home country. It was surprising to see how children around the world live and we thought about how lucky we are.
Finally, we researched natural disasters and how these affect people around the world. We used this research to create news reports in Literacy.
