School Choir

In addition to whole class music teaching, pupils have the opportunity from Reception all the way through to year 6 to participate in our school choir. We rehearse weekly and the focus is on developing pitch, rhythm and enjoyment of music.

Last year we performed at the Kent Challenger Games and The Ashford International Hotel, as well as performing in our three church services at St John the Baptist Church in Mersham.

The Royal Albert Hall Friday 16th March 2018

Mrs Solomon and I took members of the choir to the Royal Albert Hall in London to experience their Classical Spectacular. This was quite phenomenal and the children were blown away by the talent and spectacle on show. The Royal Albert Hall put on quite a performance with light shows, fireworks and canons! Mrs Solomon and I were so proud of the children – they really were excellent ambassadors for the school. Well done everyone! We even managed to have a picnic in Hyde Park in the sunshine. Below you will find a   sample of the programme and a few snaps from the day.
